In July 2020, my husband and father of three kids passed away suddenly, in a tragic accident. As I wrote the words for his memorial, a theme seemed to come to life…he loved absurdly. Bryan loved me, our kids, our church, and our city in absurd ways, but most importantly, he loved Jesus more than anything.
Our daughter, Lakin, who was 19 years old when her dad died, started this website to process some of her grief. She and Bryan were very creative, and she wanted to find a way to honor him. She designed t-shirts and stickers with all the sayings he was known for and things that he believed in.
2020 was a year when the world was turned upside down with events that shook us physically, emotionally, and spiritually in so many ways. Love Absurdly, is meant to help bring light into the darkness, peace in the storms, and hope in tragedies. It is meant to try to remind us that LOVE can spread and multiply, especially when we testify or share it with others.
